Rob Johnson to have three surgeries
MLB.com is reporting that Mariners' catcher Rob Johnson is scheduled to undergo a number of different surgeries this offseason. Johnson needs surgery on his hip, his elbow, and his wrist.
Our View: Sounds like a fun winter for Johnson. The hip surgery is similar to the procedure that A-Rod had, and Johnson is expected to have it done at the same facility. The other surgeries are expected to be minor, but it is still rough looking at three surgeries in a short period of time. Johnson is Felix Hernandez's personal catcher, so he needs to be healthy for next season.
