Yankees | Hinske on third World Series team in three years
According to The Washington Post, New York Yankees OF Eric Hinske is the first player to play in three straight World Series with three different teams since Don Baylor in 1986 (Boston Red Sox), 1987 (Minnesota Twins) and 1988 (Oakland Athletics). Hinske was with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2007, the Tampa Bay Rays last year and the Yankees now.
