Analysis: Span was placed on the DL with vestibular neuritis of the right ear on June 16, retroactive to June 10. He played in two rehab games for Rochester, going 2-for-6 with one double, one walk and one stolen base. Owners should make room for the speedy outfielder in their lineups ASAP.
