It appeared Span lost his chance at a starting job when the Twins acquired Carlos Gomez in the offseason, but the 24-year-old has made the most of his recent callup. Grab Span if you can make do with his lack of power, as he has the speed and on-base skills to be a useful outfielder for the short-term.
