The Sports Network reports Minnesota Twins OFs Jason Kubel and Delmon Young shared the American League Player of the Week honors for the period ending Sunday, Oct. 4. Kubel went 11-for-26 and hit two three-run home runs Sunday. Young hit safely in all seven games of the week and went 13-for-29 with six runs scored.
