Chris Woodward went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run and the game-winning RBI against Boston on Saturday.

Analysis: Seattle is the sixth organization for which Woodward has played during his well-traveled career, but he's never played quite like this. Woodward now has five multi-hit efforts in his first nine games with the Mariners, and while the 33-year-old obviously isn't a long-term answer at third base, he's played very well in relief of the injured Adrian Beltre. It's hard to know how long his hot hitting will last, but Woodward is hitting .357 and playing every day, which means he can help AL-only owners.
