Wang headed to DL
Chien-Ming Wang is headed to the disabled list with a right shoulder strain, according to The Journal News.
Our View: Wang strained the shoulder in the Yankees Saturday win over the Blue Jays. This just continues the miserable disaster his 2009 season has been. After his 5.1 inning, four run performance, his ERA stands at 'just' 9.64. Sergio Mitre has been mentioned as a possible spot starter for Wang's next turn in the rotation, and Phil Hughes will not be reinserted into the Yanks rotation.
