Kouzmanoff back for Padres' final two series
Kevin Kouzmanoff (calf, back) is expected to be back to the field by Tuesday to be available for San Diego's final two series, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Our View: Though he's not guaranteed to play each of the Padres' final five games, expect him to be slotted back as the team's starting third baseman, moving Chase Headley from third to left field and Oscar Salazar out of the lineup. Still, Kouzmanoff should only be considered an option to those desperate for power.
