The Brewers are interested in free agent pitcher Carl Pavano, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Our View: Pavano could be a nice low(er) cost addition to a Brewers rotation that got battered in 2009. While his numbers, 14-12 record, 5.10 ERA, were not awe-inspiring, he pitched nearly 200 innings, while striking out nearly 150 batters. A return to the National League could also bring those numbers down a little further.
