Bruney added to World Series roster
ESPN is reporting that the Yankees have added relief pitcher Brian Bruney to their World Series roster. Bruney will take the spot of reserve catcher Francisco Cervelli.
Our View: Bruney was having an excellent season for the Yankees before being injured early on, and he never fully bounced back after returning. He finished the year with a 3.92 ERA in 39 innings pitched, and he managed to strike out 36 in that time. He will add some more depth to the bullpen for the Yanks.
