Diamondbacks | Webb throws Thursday
Charles Nobles, of MLB.com, reports Arizona Diamondbacks SP Brandon Webb (shoulder) threw 90 feet on flat ground for 10 minutes Thursday, May 21. He also did some running and exercise work. He is unlikely to begin throwing with more effort for another week to two weeks. Webb is currently in a program where he will throw for two days and take a day off. He hopes to begin throwing for three straight days beginning Sunday, May 24. Pitching coach Mel Stottlemyre said Webb is throwing at 50 to 60 percent velocity right now.
