Bergesen to start running again
According to MASN.com, Orioles pitcher Brad Bergesen, who saw his season end in early July because of a shin bruise, is expected to begin a running program in two weeks.
Our View: Bergesen was having a fine rookie season, going 7-5 with a 3.43 ERA before a Billy Butler line drive sent him to the 60-day DL. He expects to be running pain-free by mid-November and, barring any setbacks, will be ready for the start of spring training. Assuming he is healthy he may be worth a flier in the late rounds of next year's fantasy draft or could be a solid target for keeper leagues.
