B.J. Upton belted a solo homer in Monday's loss to the Blue Jays.

Impacts: It was undeserved, as Upton hit a ball to center field that Colby Rasmus was camped under before it hit a catwalk in the ceiling. Umpire Joe West ruled that the ball hit a suspended object beyond the "B" catwalk, which is a home run in the Trop ground rules. Nevertheless, Upton's fantasy owners will take it. It was his third longball of the season.

Upton hits catwalk for home run

Tampa Bay outfielder B.J. Upton thought he doubled in the bottom of the first inning on Monday night against Toronto. Turns out, Upton actually homered. Upton's double was reviewed as it hit the catwalk in the Tropicana Field dome and was eventually ruled a HR by crew chief Joe West. Upton went 1 for 4 in the game with his third home run of the season. He's batting .283 for the Rays.

Analysis: Upton has definitely had a power drought this season with just three home runs so he'll take them any way he can get them. That said, he's recorded hits in five straight games and three of those are multi-hit contests. Upton's bat is warming and he remains a solid Fantasy option in most mixed formats.
