Chico Harlan, of The Washington Post, reports Washington Nationals OF Austin Kearns (elbow) is not in the lineup Friday, Aug. 22, because of residual soreness in his surgically repaired elbow. Manager Manny Acta hinted that Kearns' sore elbow may be affecting him at the plate.
