Galarraga took a step backwards in this start after allowing just two earned runs over 13 1/3 innings in his last two turns. The right-hander was unable to build off his seven-strikeout performance on July 6 and struggled with his command and at times, showing why he can’t be considered much more than a matchups play in shallower mixed leagues.
