Boston closer Alfredo Aceves entered Monday's game at Baltimore in the ninth inning looking to hold down an 8-6 lead. Aceves did just that as he went 1-2-3 for his 10th save of the season. Aceves needed 15 pitches to mow down the Orioles in the ninth. His ERA is at 4.43 on the year.
Analysis: Aceves has now gone six straight appearances without allowing a run to score with four saves over that span. He's gone 10 for 12 in save situations and has finally begun to own the role for the Red Sox. Pitching for Boston in the ninth inning, Aceves has become a viable Fantasy option in most mixed leagues and formats.
