Brewers | Escobar will be rookie again in 2010
Tom Haudricourt, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Milwaukee Brewers SS Alcides Escobar will maintain his rookie status for the 2010 season. He finished the 2009 campaign with 125 at-bats, and combined with his at-bats from the 2008 season, he has 129 at-bats at the major league level. To maintain rookie status in the majors a player must have 130 at-bats or fewer and have accumulated no more than 45 days on the active roster of a major league team during the period of 25-player limit.
