Chris Haft, of MLB.com, reports the San Francisco Giants are considered longshots to sign free-agent OF Manny Ramirez (Dodgers), according to recent reports. The Giants would be forced to trade either OFs Aaron Rowand or Randy Winn if they acquired Ramirez. The team would have a better chance at Ramirez if he lowered his contract demands, which is highly unlikely.
