The Jays have claimed Jarrett Hoffpauir off waivers from the Cardinals, according to Toronto's official twitter page.
Our View: Hoffpauir could develop into a solid hitter in the majors, but could also be hindered by poor defensive skills. He won't start in Toronto as long as Aaron Hill remains intact at second base as well.
