Manager Joe Girardi has been pleased with A.J. Burnett, according to Newsday. Girardi said, 'Hearing A.J. talk about how he has matured, he has learned over the last couple of years that it is not just throwing the ball through a wall. It leads me to believe that he is going to do well.'Burnett could have a strong campaign in pinstripes in 2009, but it remains to be seen if he can stay healthy. He has only reached at least 200 innings three times in his career.
