The Anaheim Ducks have acquired Dominik Simon from the Pittsburgh Penguins. Simon was included in the Rickard Rakell trade. Simon has three goals and nine points in 55 contests this season. The Ducks are likely to use him on their fourth or possibly third line.

Zac Rinaldo has cleared waivers, but Columbus has decided not to send him to Cleveland of the AHL. Rinaldo remains under contract, which will be honored by the Blue Jackets, but the organization doesn't want an unvaccinated player around their other players. Columbus will allow Rinaldo to seek out playing elsewhere if he wants.

Zac Rinaldo has been put on waivers by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Rinaldo is not vaccinated from COVID, so he wasn't invited to attend Columbus training camp. The opt-out deadline is set for Friday, so it will be interesting to see what he decides to do. If he stays with the team and doesn't get vaccinated then he will have to remain in the AHL. Nikita Nesterov has agreed to a contract with CSKA Moscow of the KHL. Nesterov spent three seasons with the KHL club prior to playing for Calgary in 2020-21. In 38 appearances with the Flames, he posted four assists, 33 shots 29 blocks and 41 hits. Nesterov was eligible for unrestricted free agency this summer.

They stopped the play, I believe because Coghlan looked hurt, but there's no penalty call. Terry's stick did hit Coghlan high, so it should've been a high stick call. Nikita Nesterov has agreed to a contract with CSKA Moscow of the KHL. Nesterov spent three seasons with the KHL club prior to playing for Calgary in 2020-21. In 38 appearances with the Flames, he posted four assists, 33 shots 29 blocks and 41 hits. Nesterov was eligible for unrestricted free agency this summer.

Zac Rinaldo has been put on waivers by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Rinaldo is not vaccinated from COVID, so he wasn't invited to attend Columbus training camp.
