According to TSN.com, Teemu Selanne will avoid retirement and play in the NHL with the Ducks next season.
Our View: The news that Scott Niedermayer decided to stick around likely influenced Selanne, and the Ducks get a nice boost by having him put on the Anaheim uniform for another season. He can still get it done, as the aging superstar notched 27 goals and 27 assists in just 65 games last year.
