The Minnesota Star-Tribune reports that slumping winger Martin Havlat missed Friday's game with a hamstring injury.
Our View: Havlat has been awful this season, registering just eight points and a minus-14 rating, and has clearly been hampered by the injury. He likely won't return to action until next Wednesday, but hold off on inserting him into your fantasy lineup until he proves that he can still get it done in this league. If he is game-fit and still struggles, then perhaps offense really does go to Minnesota to die.

Martin Havlat (hamstring) did not play on Friday. Havlat said that the hamstring has been bothering him and it got worse on Wednesday against Phoenix. He is hoping to be ready to go on Wednesday when the Wild next play. Havlat is having a horrible season with eight points and a minus-14 rating in 19 games. Hopefully his hamstring issues are the reason for the slow start and he can return to last season's form where he was a point a game player.
