Pekka Rinne won his fourth straight game on Thursday as the Thrashers defeated the Devils 3-2 in a shootout. Rinne stopped 26 of 28 shots in the win.
Our View: Rinne has picked up back-to-back wins over solid opponents, and he gives his team a chance to win every night. It looks like he is the better option over Dan Ellis in net, but both players will likely see time going forward.

Dan Ellis got the start for the Predators on Tuesday, but he allowed four goals on 29 shots as Nashville fell to San Jose 4-3.
Our View: Ellis has decent numbers this season, but he has given way to Pekka Rinne in the starting role. It won't help that he got the nod tonight and allowed four goals in a tough loss. Expect Rinne to get the next start.
