News: Titans K Rob Bironas booted three field goals and three extra points during a Week 8 win against the Jaguars. Bironas opened the scoring with a 48-yard field goal in the first. He added a 25-yarder in the second and then a 45-yarder in the third. He has made three field goals in two of his last three games.

Analysis: Bironas was dying to kick a field goal in Week 8 since last time the Titans took the field they were shutout in Week 6 against the Patriots. Tennessee was on the bye in Week 7. Bironas finally had his first double-digit point performance in Week 8 and it coincided with the return of Vince Young under center. Perhaps Young's return will spark Bironas on his way back to becoming a reliable Fantasy option. The Titans play the 49ers in Week 9

Analysis: While Crumpler is usually a contributor on the stat sheet, he posts very modest numbers and still doesn't have a touchdown. He is also fighting for reps with Bo Scaife and Jared Cook. Crumpler is not the player he once was and has marginal Fantasy appeal. The Titans play the 49ers in Week 9

News: Titans TE Alge Crumpler, WR Mark Jones and TE Jared Cook all dressed but failed to record an offensive stat Week 6 against the Patriots.

Analysis: Crumpler, Jones and Cook are all role players for the Titans and hardly contribute on offense on a weekly basis. They have little to no Fantasy value. The Titans don't play again until Week 8 against the Jaguars

News: Titans WR Justin Gage totaled three catches for 41 yards during a Week 8 win against the Jaguars. He was targeted a team-high five times and also led the team with a 13.7 yards per catch average. Gage came into the game with just two receptions for 22 yards in his previous three games.

Analysis: It seems the change at quarterback to Vince Young could benefit Gage since he was his most-targeted receiver in Week 8. Still, Gage didn't post eye-popping numbers and who knows if that will ever come from the Missouri alum. Gage has minimal Fantasy appeal heading into Week 9 against the 49ers

Justin Gage led the Titans 41 yards on three catches against the Jaguars in Week 8. Gage was targeted on five of Vince Young's 18 attempts. There was speculation that he could begin losing playing time to rookie Kenny Britt, but Gage remained the starter and played his normal complement of snaps.

Justin Gage is like the rest of the Titans right now. The veteran receiver knows a change at quarterback could be in store for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. "I shouldn't say I sense it, but I think it is in the air right now,'' Gage said on Wednesday. "I am not sure how it is going to play out or what is going to go on. But as far as receivers, we have to be prepared for either quarterback.'' (The Tennessean)

FF Today's Take: All signs point to a QB change, and if he does indeed start, Young will have his hands full against a Jags team hungry to jump above the .500 mark for the first time this year. Here's chance number two, Vince.

Analysis: Britt has been pretty bad since going off for 105 yards in his first game against Jacksonville in Week 4. Britt was one of the Titans' most productive receivers in the first few games and now he is one of their least productive. It seems he might be hitting a rookie wall. Britt, like all the Titans receivers, have to adjust to Vince Young, who has taken over for the struggling Kerry Collins. Britt is not a recommended Fantasy start heading into Week 9 against the 49ers

He remains more of a bye-week Fantasy replacement and long-term keeper at this point in his career. The Titans are off until Week 8 against the Jaguars
