This means that WRs Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie will continue to see relevant playing time in the Indianapolis offense.

Surgery Expected For Next Week

FF Today's Take: Jackson spent much of October fighting through an ACL strain in his left knee after undergoing surgery to repair the ACL in his right knee last season. The Colts haven't informed the media which knee he suffered the injury this time around. His loss this year means less to the team than it would have in previous years as rookie Jerraud Powers had already bypassed him on the depth chart.

Marlin Jackson will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL, according to ESPN. He suffered the injury on the final play of practice yesterday.

Our View: Jackson will have surgery next week, and this comes at a bad time as Jackson is in the final year of his contract with Indianapolis. He is a solid starting cornerback when healthy. Rookie Jerraud Powers has been doing a good job in his absence.

FF Today's Take: Sanders has missed an absurd 40 of 87 possible NFL games so far through 6 seasons, so, though he's a star, the Colts defense are used to being without his services. With Hayden out for the next four weeks, the Colts are looking a little depleted at DB, especially facing QBs Matt Schaub, Tom Brady, Joe Flacco, and Schaub again over that stretch.
