As expected, left tackle Walter Jones has been placed on injured reserve with a knee injury, officially ending his season, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Our View: Jones is dealing with complications from microfracture surgery, a procedure that has ended the careers of more than one athlete. At age 35, it's possible the legendary left tackle has played his last down.

Seahawks | W. Jones hopes to play in 2010
Clare Farnsworth, of Seahawks.com, reports Seattle Seahawks OT Walter Jones (knee) said he hopes to be able to play in 2010. "I still want to play this game. I still have the love. I like the competition. I still want to go out there and compete with the guys. So that's my No. 1 goal right now, is to continue to keep doing what I've got to do to get back on the field for next year," Jones said.
