Veteran Dre Bly has shown signs of life at 49ers OTAs, and is picking up the 49ers defensive system very quickly according to the Santa Rosa Press Democrat.
Our View: Bly's best days are certainly behind him, but due to the 49ers loss of Walt Harris for the season he will see significant playing time in 2009 and could have some value in IDP leagues because of his propensity for interceptions.

Status: I.R.. Out for season
49ers placed CB Walt Harris (torn ACL) on injured reserve, ending his season. It's unclear when he'll have surgery. Harris is in the last year of his contract and will be 35 when he hits 2010 free agency. His career may be over.
