Matt Maiocco, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, reports San Francisco 49ers CB Walt Harris (knee) is planning to play in 2010. He is in the final year of his contract with the team, so it is not known if he will return to the 49ers next year.

Status: I.R.. Out for season
49ers placed CB Walt Harris (torn ACL) on injured reserve, ending his season. It's unclear when he'll have surgery. Harris is in the last year of his contract and will be 35 when he hits 2010 free agency. His career may be over.
