The AP reports that Jets linebacker Vernon Gholston, the No. 6 overall pick, was inactive for the first time when the Jets squared off with Buffalo on Sunday.Gholston is not injured, he's just been unable to grasp the Jets playbook. He's been one of the biggest rookie disappointments of the season.
