News: By virtue of the Chiefs' acquisition of QB Matt Cassel from the Patriots, we can pretty much rule out Tyler Thigpen retaining his spot as the starter for Kansas City in 2009. In 2008, Thigpen had 2,608 yards on 230-of-420 passing (54.8 comp. pct.; 6.21 yards per attempt) with 18 scores and a dozen interceptions, tacking on 386 yards rushing on 62 attempts with three total ground scores along with a 37-yard touchdown catch against the Bucs in Week 9.
