Impacts: Owens is becoming happy and productive again with Tony Romo returning to form. T.O. was coming off a 213-yard receiving game against San Francisco on Sunday, and would have had another 100-yard game if he hadn't dropped a wide-open slant on Romo's last pass with 6:19 left in the game.

News: Against the 49ers in Week 12, Owens had catches of 75, 52 and 45 yards, three of his five longest all season, as part of a 213-yard, one-touchdown day. His seven catches matched a season high. San Francisco might've helped by the way it defended Owens. Or, rather, didn't defend him. Instead of jamming Owens at the line and having a safety take over once Owens works free - the approach most teams have used this season - the 49ers let cornerback Nate Clements play off Owens and chase him one-on-one. Considering the results, if foes weren't already convinced which strategy was best, this might clinch it. Of course, Owens has faced jamming cornerbacks most of his 13-year career. The difference this season is that his poor numbers have prompted talk that he's lost a step. "Being that I'm 34, y'all want to say I can't get off the jam. I understand that," Owens said. Reminded that he'll be 35 a week from Sunday, Owens said, "OK, OK, it don't matter. I'm 34 and I just had (213) yards. Now what? I'm just saying, how about that?" [...]

His score came on his first catch, a 75-yard bomb from Tony Romo that traveled about 50 yards through the air before Owens fought off a clinging Niners defender for nearly 20 yards as he scored. His second catch was also a long bomb good for 45 yards and topped 200 yards receiving on a short reception late in the game. T.O. had the second-most yards of his career, behind only the 283 he had for San Francisco when he caught an NFL-record 20 passes in 2000. It was the fourth-most in Cowboys history, the best in the NFL since Philadelphia's Kevin Curtis had 221 in September 2007 and tops by a Dallas player since Tony Hill had 213 against the Eagles in 1979. TO is a great weapon in the offensive side of attack. He is a great option for screens or reverses and is a guy with great confidence. with edwards having TO evans and the speedy roscoe parrish as his options the offense is going to be the most explosive its been in a long time. TO is deffinetly the biggest thret on the Bills especialy with edwards throwing the ball ( see my commen for Trent Edwards)
