Shaun Phillips is being sued by a 54-year-old woman who says he struck and injured her at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas in February 2008, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
Our View: This is Phillips' second recent run-in with the law, as he's set to stand trial in October on charges of punching a security guard in April of 2009. We'll have to wait and see if the NFL looks into these cases and decides to hand down any discipline.
Shaun Phillips facing lawsuit
San Diego Chargers linebacker Shaun Phillips has been accused of hitting and injuring a 54-year-old woman, who has filed a lawsuit against him in excess of $10,000.
The alleged incident occurred at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas two years ago, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
