According to the Twitter page of Saints' beat writer Jeff Duncan, running back Pierre Thomas is not practicing on Wednesday due to his sprained MCL. Duncan reports that Thomas looks "pretty gimpy" on his right knee.

Our View: The injury is not expected to be all that serious, but this news is still a bit concerning. Thomas has been listed as a sleeper so many times this offseason that he is losing his sleeper status, but if this injury keeps him out for some time it could hurt fantasy owners who jumped on him early. We will keep you up to date on his status.

The New Orleans Times-Picayune is reporting that Saints' running back Reggie Bush fully expects to play in the team's next preseason game Saturday against the Raiders. Bush missed the last game while dealing with a minor calf injury.

Our View: The injury has been reported as minor, so Bush should be fine for the preseason game. Still, this injury isn't putting anyone at ease concerning the fragile label that has been placed on him in his NFL career. Don't target Bush too high in your draft, and you should be taking Pierre Thomas far earlier.
