The Indianapolis Star reports that strong-side linebacker Tyjuan Hagler has been placed on injured reserve with a ruptured biceps muscle, effectively ending his season.
Our View: Hagler had 26 tackles in seven games this year, and will become a free agent this offseason. No word on if the Colts are interested in retaining him, as it likely depends on the play of Philip Wheeler, who figures to step into his spot on the defensive line.

Wheeler can handle the job. It is unfortunate that Hagler has an injury but Wheeler showed up and showed out on Sunday. He is a strong linebacker that plays with his heart and soul. If you want to see how great he is roll back the tapes from GT. Give him the opportunity and he will be the MAN on the field.
