The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted wide receiver Nate Hughes from the practice squad to the active roster, according to ProFootballTalk.com. Hughes played in two games with the team early in the season before being released.
Our View: Hughes was released earlier in the year after dropping two touchdown passes against the Cardinals. He is still young, and the time on the practice squad has helped his confidence immensely. He doesn't figure to be a fantasy factor this season, but he has a future in the league.

ProFootballTalk.com is reporting that the Jaguars have placed rookie wide receiver Jarrett Dillard on injured reserve with a broken ankle. The team has signed receiver Nate Hughes from the practice squad to replace Dillard.
Our View: Dillard was starting to see regular playing time, so this injury couldn't have come at a worse time. He should make a full recovery by next season, and could very well factor into the Jags offense in the future.
