The Atlanta Falcons have placed long snapper Mike Schneck on injured reserve, ending his 2009 season, according to the Twitter page of Adam Schefter.

Our View: The team signed Bryan Pittman to replace Schneck as the team's long snapper. This shouldn't affect fantasy play unless Pittman botches a snap on a field goal.

The Atlanta Falcons have signed long snapper Bryan Pittman to a deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Pittman will replace the injured Mike Schneck on the roster.

Our View: Pittman has bounced around a bit, but he is a fairly reliable long snapper who should do fine in Atlanta. He doesn't figure to play into the fantasy game much this season.
