Vick was quiet in his first NFL game since 2006, running once for seven yards and failing to complete either of his pass attempts. His 11 plays, which included seven handoffs, resulted in a net of 30 yards.
Impacts: Vick spent most of the game on the sideline watching youngsters Kevin Kolb, LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson lead the Eagles to a one-sided victory. "I think I played fairly well," Vick said. "I made good decisions with the plays I had. I missed one ball across the middle. I think I could have hit that. I have to make sure I keep my arm warm on the sideline so when I go in there I am not cold. My focus was to be smart and not turn the ball over."

Ashley Fox of the Philadelphia Inquirer suggests that quarterback Michael Vick could see upward of a dozen plays in his regular season debut on Sunday against the Chiefs. The Eagles have not revealed their plans for Vick at this point.
Our View: The Eagles are playing this one pretty close to the vest, and while some people, like Fox, believe that Vick could be a big part of the gameplan against the Chiefs, while others believe he could be inactive this weekend. Vick isn't worth playing in fantasy leagues, but it would be smart to keep an eye on him with McNabb banged up.

Our View: The completion percentage was not bad, but 26 yards passing showed that Vick is still a long way from being ready to start at quarterback in the NFL. The good news is that he got some extended time under center, and with more practice time he should get better as the season progresses.
