Status: Out. Ready for training camp
Eagles signed DB Marlin Jackson to a two-year, $6 million contract, including $2 million in the first year. Though two torn ACLs as a pro present obvious concern, Jackson says the tears were clean and that he'll be ready for training camp. A heady defensive back with lots of range and versatility when healthy, Jackson immediately joins the mix to start at free safety in Philadelphia. The former first-round pick will battle incumbent Macho Harris and perhaps Quintin Demps.
