Thomas Jones reported to the Jets' OTA today as expected, according to the Star-Ledger.
Our View: Jones still covets a new contract and feels he is underpaid after racking up 1,519 total yards rushing and receiving in 2008, but decided to report to the club anyway. Leon Washington remains absent though.

Status: I.R.. Out for season
Leon Washington said Thursday that he's ahead of schedule in his return from a broken leg and hopes to rejoin the team in March for the off-season conditioning program. Washington's injury was a double open fracture in his right leg, where the broken tibia and fibular bones came through the skin. A steel rod was placed in his leg, and Washington is beyond the point where infection is a concern. "They expect me to have a full recovery and they're real surprised at my mobility right now," said Washington.
