Darin Gantt, of the Rock Hill Herald, reports Carolina Panthers LB Landon Johnson (knee) suffered a knee sprain in Week 11. Head coach John Fox said the injury does not require surgery but would not give a timetable.

According to the Rock Hill Herald, linebacker Landon Johnson injured his knee in the fourth quarter of Thursday's game.
Our View: The injury has been diagnosed as a sprain, and the good news is that coach John Fox has stated that it won't require surgery. No word on if he'll be active next week, but the Panthers front seven can ill afford to lose another man.

Panthers WLB Landon Johnson has a knee sprain but doesn't need surgery, according to coach John Fox. Johnson was injured in the fourth quarter of Thursday's loss to the Dolphins. It's remarkably yet another injury to a Panthers' front seven that has been ravaged this season. Johnson was already filling in for Thomas Davis (injured reserve, knee).
