Na'il Diggs missed Panthers practice on Thursday as he deals with a rib injury, according to the Rock Hill Herald.

Our View: The Panthers' starting strong-side linebacker has just three tackles so far in 2009. Landon Johnson will go on Sunday if he is unable to.

Panthers WLB Landon Johnson has a knee sprain but doesn't need surgery, according to coach John Fox. Johnson was injured in the fourth quarter of Thursday's loss to the Dolphins. It's remarkably yet another injury to a Panthers' front seven that has been ravaged this season. Johnson was already filling in for Thomas Davis (injured reserve, knee).
