Our View: Bulger has not been ruled out for this weekend yet, but if you are one of the unfortunate souls who owns him, you need to have Kyle Boller on your fantasy speed-dial.

Rams' insider Jim Thomas is reporting that quarterback Marc Bulger will get a second opinion from Dr. James Andrews on his injured throwing shoulder. Bulger has not been ruled out of the team's Week 4 game against the 49ers.

Our View: Bulger will see what Dr. Andrews thinks, and then he is going to try to participate in team activities on Thursday or Friday. All signs are still pointing to Kyle Boller starting this weekend, but we should know more in a few days.

Our View: We still have to wait for the MRI results to know how much time Bulger will miss, but it sounds like Kyle Boller could be in line for a promotion.

Boller entered for an ineffective and injured Marc Bulger and finished 16 of 31 for 164 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. Both of his touchdown passes came in the 2nd quarter and went to seldom-used FB Daniel Fells. After the second TD pass, Boller did little the rest of the way and really didn't look like much of an improvement over Bulger. Still, with Bulger nursing a shoulder injury now, Boller could remain the starter for Week 4 at San Francisco. Boller also rushed four times for 31 yards in Week 3. [...]
