Young's Titans future unclear
The Nashville Tennessean suggest that Vince Young could be released after the 2009 season if he is outplayed by Patrick Ramsey this preseason.
Our View: The paper points out that Ramsey is familiar with offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger's offense, and that he's no threat to be a distraction, both quite unlike Young. It's hard to imagine that this will actually happen, and Young should still be the favorite to back up Kerry Collins this season, but given his recent checkered past, anything is possible.
