Keenan Burton remains out of practice while recovering from a hamstring ailment, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Our View: Burton cannot afford to miss much time while competing with the newly acquired Laurent Robinson for a starting gig at receiver. If healthy, Burton should win the job, and could be worth a look as a flier for deeper leagues after averaging 13.2 yards per catch as a rookie in 2008.

Status: I.R.. Out for season
Rams placed WR Keenan Burton on injured reserve with a torn right patellar tendon, ending his season. Rookie Brandon Gibson, coming off a 93-yard game, will move into the every-down receiver position opposite Donnie Avery. Burton proved this year that he lacks the talent and separation skills to be a long-term starter. With a cheap contract, he'll return in 2010 to compete for a substitute role.
