Keenan Burton was limited in Wednesday's practice while nursing a hamstring ailment, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Our View: The hamstring is tight, but head coach Steve Spagnuolo expects him to be fine. Burton flashed solid potential as a rookie in 2008, and he will be competing for a starting role in training camp if healthy. The newly acquired Laurent Robinson will push him for the job.

Status: I.R.. Out for season
Rams placed WR Keenan Burton on injured reserve with a torn right patellar tendon, ending his season. Rookie Brandon Gibson, coming off a 93-yard game, will move into the every-down receiver position opposite Donnie Avery. Burton proved this year that he lacks the talent and separation skills to be a long-term starter. With a cheap contract, he'll return in 2010 to compete for a substitute role.
