RT Jansen Began Offseason Workouts Early
Redskins RT Jon Jansen decided to begin his offseason workouts earlier this winter in an attempt to stay in shape as team activities begin. Jansen reported to workouts this week with %18 body fat, down from 23 at season's end as he spent most of the season trying to recover from injuries. "I've [usually] taken off until the end of February or the beginning of March to try to let my body heal up," Jansen said. "When you take that time off, your injuries heal up, but you really get out of shape. I didn't want to start from zero again. So I eased into workouts a lot sooner than I had in the past and it shows.
