Updating a previous report, Jerious Norwood has been ruled out for Week 7 and may have a more serious injury than originally anticipated, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: Norwood predicts that he could miss "more than a couple of weeks" with the hip flexor injury. The bad luck continues for Michael Turner's backup as he has already had two concussions and a knee injury in his contract year. It now looks as if his hip will end up hurting his wallet.

Status: Questionable. Likely will play
Jerious Norwood (hip) and Michael Turner (ankle) are both inactive for Week 11 against the Giants. Norwood got some practice time in this week, but it wasn't enough to get him cleared for his usual duties. Jason Snelling will be an every-down back at New York. The Falcons' other inactives are WR Brian Finneran, LB Spencer Adkins, OT Garrett Reynolds, DT Trey Lewis, OL Quinn Ojinnaka, and third QB John Parker Wilson.
