Falcons | Norwood practices Wednesday
D. Orlando Ledbetter, of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, reports Atlanta Falcons RB Jerious Norwood (concussion) participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 30, after bring medically cleared. Norwood will wear a more heavily padded helmet because he is coming off his fourth career concussion.

Falcons' running back Jerious Norwood returned to practice on Wednesday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Norwood was recovering from his second concussion of the season that he sustained on September 20.
Our View: It looks like Norwood should be ready to go this weekend, as he has been medically cleared to return to the field. He is a quality backup to starter Michael Turner, and would be a good play if Turner went down.

Status: Questionable. Likely will play
Jerious Norwood (hip) and Michael Turner (ankle) are both inactive for Week 11 against the Giants. Norwood got some practice time in this week, but it wasn't enough to get him cleared for his usual duties. Jason Snelling will be an every-down back at New York. The Falcons' other inactives are WR Brian Finneran, LB Spencer Adkins, OT Garrett Reynolds, DT Trey Lewis, OL Quinn Ojinnaka, and third QB John Parker Wilson.
