Jerious Norwood could get more carries in 2009, and improve on his career high 36 receptions from 2008, according to ESPN.
Our View: Norwood is expected to get more carries this season as the Falcons try to limit the wear and tear on feature back Michael Turner, and to be highly involved in the passing game. He should be one of the first backups off your draft board, and is a good candidate to start in place of your regulars if they are on a bye.

The Falcons' offensive coordinator confirmed on Thursday that Michael Turner will likely get less carries in 2009 after leading the league with 376 in 2008, according to ESPN.
Our View: The Falcons still plan on being a rush-first team in 2009, however, and it's hard to envision Turner not being in the league leaders in carries. Jerious Norwood could get handed the ball a few more times, but Turner should still be an elite back, and you should consider him as such when you think about drafting him.

Status: Questionable. Likely will play
Jerious Norwood (hip) and Michael Turner (ankle) are both inactive for Week 11 against the Giants. Norwood got some practice time in this week, but it wasn't enough to get him cleared for his usual duties. Jason Snelling will be an every-down back at New York. The Falcons' other inactives are WR Brian Finneran, LB Spencer Adkins, OT Garrett Reynolds, DT Trey Lewis, OL Quinn Ojinnaka, and third QB John Parker Wilson.
